By indicating your intent to electronically sign these terms and conditions, you hereby agree to conduct transactions with us by electronic means, which includes consenting to our delivery of documents and records to you electronically, in accordance with the Federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN Act) and applicable state laws. These terms are in addition to and do not apply to or supersede the Paperless Terms and Conditions.
You understand, prior to consenting, that:
You agree to receive and execute legally binding documents electronically, including notices, agreements, and other communications, via e-mail or other designated electronic channels provided by Farmers Insurance Group® entities. Agreeing to conduct any particular transaction with us by electronic means does not prevent your refusal to conduct other transactions with us electronically.
Your electronic signature, which may include clicking a button, typing your name, or using a digital signature tool, will be considered your legally binding electronic signature evidencing your intent to sign the electronic record electronically and will be attributed to you as the signer.
You have the right to request a paper copy of any electronic document by contacting a Farmers Insurance Group representative. There may be fees to receive paper copies of electronic records from us.
You acknowledge that by agreeing to these terms, you are consenting to receive important communications from us electronically.
You must have the necessary technology to access, view, and retain electronic records. PDF links are provided solely for your convenience and can be viewed with Adobe Acrobat, or a compatible PDF reader.
You will also need a printer and/or storage device if you wish to print and retain any electronic records.
Exceptions: Notwithstanding the above, certain documents may require a "wet" signature in accordance with applicable laws.
It is your responsibility to maintain a valid email address with us and to notify us of any changes to your email address.
You have the right to withdraw your consent to have records provided or made available in electronic form. We will tell you of any conditions, consequences of your withdrawal of consent (which may include termination of our business relationship), and of any fees which may be imposed on you in the event of such withdrawal of consent. In order to withdraw your consent to have records provided or made available in an electronic form, or to update information we need to contact you electronically, please contact a Farmers Insurance Group representative
